1943年に京焼・清水焼の主要産地の一つである東山区日吉地区に開窯。3代目「高島慎一」は「いっちん」とよばれる絵付け技法を始め、様々な技法を扱いながら、茶道具から日常の器まで幅広く制作している。

The kiln was opened in 1943 in the Hiyoshi district of Higashiyama Ward, one of the main production areas of Kiyomizu-yaki. The third generation owner, Shinichi Takashima, uses a variety of techniques, including a painting technique known as "Icchin," to create a wide range of ware, from tea ceremony utensils to everyday tableware.
