Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the matters to be observed by users (hereinafter referred to as “Customers”) when using the online store “UTSUWA” (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) operated by Transstyle Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), as well as the rights and obligations between the Company and Customers. By making a purchase, Customers are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.


Article 1 (Application)
These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the Company and Customers regarding the use of the Service.
By using the Service, Customers are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.


Article 2 (Membership Registration)
Membership registration is required in order to purchase products.
If false information is registered, the Company reserves the right to suspend the provision of the Service.


Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)
Customers shall not engage in the following acts:

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals

  • Acts that infringe upon the rights or interests of other Customers or third parties

  • Registering false information

  • Acts that interfere with the operation of the website

  • Unauthorized access, spam, hacking, or similar acts


Article 4 (Formation of Contract)
When a prospective purchaser places an order and the Company sends an order confirmation email, a sales contract shall be deemed established.


Article 5 (Payment Method)
Customers shall pay the product price by the method designated by the Company (such as credit card).


Article 6 (Shipping)
Products will be shipped through a delivery service designated by the Company.
For international shipping, customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees may arise at the time of customs clearance, and such costs shall be borne by the Customer.
The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by delivery delays, customs seizures, or inability to deliver.


Article 7 (Returns and Exchanges)
Due to the nature of the products (handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, etc.), returns or exchanges due to Customer preference are generally not accepted.
Only in cases where the Company is responsible (such as product damage or incorrect delivery), and only if the Customer contacts the Company within 3 days of receipt, will the Company handle the matter.
For international shipping, return/exchange shipping fees and customs clearance costs shall generally be borne by the Customer.


Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for content related to the Service (photographs, text, designs, etc.) belong to the Company or the rightful rights holders. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.


Article 9 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by force majeure beyond its control, such as natural disasters, system failures, or delivery troubles.
Differences in color or texture between product images and actual items shall not be accepted as valid reasons for return.


Article 10 (Modification, Suspension, or Termination of Service)
The Company may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Customers as a result thereof.


Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
In the event of a dispute concerning the Service, the Kyoto District Court or Kyoto Summary Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance with agreed jurisdiction.
For disputes with overseas Customers, such disputes shall, in principle, also be handled under Japanese law and in the Japanese language.


Article 12 (Amendment of Terms)
The Company may modify these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect at the time they are displayed on the Service.
